  1. Hawks win a HUGE playoff game last night, Cubbies pull out a wild one at Wrigley today, and the sun is out...
Thanks for the Vetiver tune. I like that one a lot. Death Cab seems timely...aren't they in CHI tonight? Anybody going?
With all the happy sunshiney news I thought their might be a more cheerful playlist, but Riley keeps us on our toes as per usual.

  2. ...I realize this playlist was created prior to all mentioned events above. What would be a good celebratory song for the Hawks win?

  3. Yeh playlist woulda been different if I did it day of... but it also probably woulda been posted late. Not sure what the best Hawks celebratory jam would be but they did play Van Halen's - 'Right Now' just before Overtime and I was lovin it. Got me thinkin' about songs they always play at hockey games no matter the local or level of play. Ozzy - 'Crazy Train', and Bush - 'Machine Head' initially come to mind. That could be a whole nother playlist

  4. We heard the Lakeside Singers last night do the Ghostbusters song-that might be good for the Cubs and Blackhawks! It was a sing-a-long at the end of a wide variety of choral music...and a great way to start a spring weekend!

  5. Springsteen's "Glory Days" is always a favorite of mine for a celebrating a big win.

TA put forth Mellancamp's "R.O.C.K. in the USA" for nomination as well.

    Thoughts?
