Axl Turns 47? Wow.

Axl Rose had a birthday yesterday and in honor of his turning 47 I thought it would be fitting to get some documentation of his classic stage banter on here. The track below is taken from Guns N' Roses' December 1987 show at Perkin's Palace in Pasadena. It's Axl at his best and the band coming off the release of Appetite for Destruction the summer before. I never got to see these guys live so I have to settle for the recordings but maybe some of our readers who did can comment on the experience.

GnR - Out Ta Get Me

AXL ROSE you are a GEM

"...our first leaks were from using a sound system in a strip club in the early hours when it was basically empty,"
Awesome response to Billboard's inquiry as to how he listened to Chinese Democracy when it was still a work in progress.

No wonder the Album came out sounding like a play list from a strip club.
