Jack White assured
White Stripes fans everywhere in his recent interview with Music Radar that despite his many
side projects and Meg White's anxiety problems the White Stripes would be putting out new material, "It won’t be too far off, maybe a year.” The full interview can be found at

I stumbled on this article last week about an ex-banker that has turned the current economic downturn into an opportunity to leave behind his past work and focus on what was formerly just a hobby, building aluminum guitars. It's a cool story and aside from these geeetars looking pretty rad some of our favorite rockers seem to have taken a liking to them as well (yim yames???). Have a read at

Cat Power making some sweet potato somethings.This is a pretty cool project that Logan Walters has undertaken. He has set out to redesign Wu-Tang Clan album covers as if they had been put out on Blue Note Records. Some interesting work. Have a look at the
