Chicago concert Lollapalooza attendee, KZ, sends along some pics from the wet affair that was Day 1 Friday. Her words...
Lolla Day 1...what can I say....It was wet! But soooooooooooo fun. The weather was definitely the main determinant for who we were going to see. Originally I had my mind set on Fleet Foxes, A. Bird, Bon Iver, The Decemberists. But after standing in the pouring rain for 5 hours....we decided to skip the indie and go straight electronic. The south side was definitely the party scene. We ended up seeing Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, The Gaslight Anthem, Heartless Bastards, Crystal Castles, Thievery Corporation, Of Montreal, Depeche Mode, & Kid Cudi. Hopefully today will be dry.
