Dr. Dog @ Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Fest (Pictures)

The crowd quickly shifted as Béla Fleck and the Flecktones finished and people got ready for Dr. Dog. It became much younger and much thinner crowd, not to say I was shocked but I thought more people would have stuck around. Unfortunately it became clear that majority of people were only there at all for the Flecktones. Too bad cuz Dr. Dog is a solid band. They put on a solid set despite the slowly dwindling crowd. It was a long 13 hour day, check out these pics of Dr. Dog bringin' it home for us.

  2. They played a great set that night- but they also turned into HUGE assholes. The front man of Dr. Dog complained about the whole festival and accused the people attending as not being into music at all, just atmosphere. I understand that they were pissed about the crowd diminishing the way it did, but don't turn that back on the people that DID stay and see you. He ranted for at least 10 minutes- very unprofessional and VERY uncool.
