With Lollapalooza fast approaching and neither Riley or myself planning on being in attendance we are lucky to have this anticipatory contribution from the young and beautiful, KZ.
Another gorgeous day in Chicago. Decided to hop on my bike and check out the action at Grant Park. (I'm pretty excited about the weekend.) Lolla typically has 4 main stages and countless smaller stages and attraction areas. The 3 main stages, minus the "Playstation" stage which is a permanent fixture in Grant Park, were nearing completion. Security was pretty lax however I did get a few looks from the crew guys at the "Budlight" stage while I was trying to snap a few pics of the setup. It was funny be down there, especially with the beer tents being so quiet. They have alot of work to do in less than 48 hours.....
Lollapalooza is HUGE summer event for the city of Chicago. Last year 225,000 were in attendance, all 3-day-passes sold out and an estimated $70 million in economic impact was generated for the city of Chicago. No doubt 2009 will not disappoint.
