Dan Auerbach w/ Justin Townes Earle December Tour Dates Cancelled

I've done a little interweb snooping and can't figure out why the Dan Auerbach and Justin Townes Earle cancellation occurred. Anybody got anything?

I've heard The Black Keys were freeing up time for work on their Blakroc project (A Black Keys collaboration with hip-hop artists; RZA, Mos Def, Q-Tip, and many more). Pretty bummed the December shows got canned. Anybody have any input?

If it is any consolation, the Blakroc stuff sounds pretty good.

I've had a very hard time taking either Justin Townes Earle or Dan Auerbach out of heavy rotation on my ipod this year. Now they will be touring together this fall/winter...should make for some good shows.
