Dan Auerbach w/ Justin Townes Earle December Tour Dates Cancelled

I've done a little interweb snooping and can't figure out why the Dan Auerbach and Justin Townes Earle cancellation occurred. Anybody got anything?

I've heard The Black Keys were freeing up time for work on their Blakroc project (A Black Keys collaboration with hip-hop artists; RZA, Mos Def, Q-Tip, and many more). Pretty bummed the December shows got canned. Anybody have any input?

If it is any consolation, the Blakroc stuff sounds pretty good.

    The Black Keys are supposed to start touring in January and they (Dan Auerbach) didn't want to those cities twice so close to each other, so I hear. Justin Townes Earle would have been great to see again. Might have to head to Detroit...
