Got our hands on Dan Auerbach's solo album titled "Keep It Hid" and we're thrilled. Gave it a first listen last night, lots of goodness on there. As you can tell we're already fans. Read some stuff out there in this here blogosphere/interweb that said the album was basically a Black Keys album under a different name but I disagree. There are obviously similarities between Dan's solo work and his work with the Black Keys but hes definitely got something fresh going on with "Keep It Hid". From Akron, this is his solo album but he's also half of The Black Keys. Solid beard. Even better guitar. The whole CD is impressive for a solo debut.
