June 9, 1915 in Waukesha, WI, Lester William Polsfuss better known as Les Paul was born. Today HGH wishes him a happy birthday. It is said that without him and his perfecting of the solid body electric guitar Rock music would not be possible.
In 1939 he built a guitar dubbed 'the Log' and in a little over a decade after that, the Gibson Les Paul Goldtop was born...
